Terms and conditions

1. Definitions

Landlord
The owner or manager of the vacation rental.

Tenant
The person who rents the vacation home and is responsible for all fellow travelers.

Holiday home
The rented accommodation including inventory and all available facilities.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A reservation is only final after the (down) payment has been received.
  • Inside 8 days after reservation, a deposit of is required 25% of the total amount to be fulfilled.
  • The remaining amount must no later than 30 days before arrival to be paid.
  • In the event of late payment, the landlord reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

3. Cancellation

Cancellation by the tenant

  • Tot 6 weeks before arrival: 50%: Refund of amounts already paid.
  • Inside 6 weeks before arrival: No refund.

Cancellation by the landlord

If the landlord cannot fulfill the reservation due to force majeure (such as natural disasters or technical issues), a suitable solution will be offered or the full amount paid will be refunded.

4. Borg

  • Prior to arrival, a deposit of €500 to be fulfilled.
  • The bail is inside 8 days after departure recommended, provided no damage has been found and the house rules have been complied with.

5. Force majeure

The landlord is not liable for disruptions, delays, or failures caused by force majeure, including but not limited to:

  • Power outages
  • Internet outages
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Government measures
  • Other circumstances beyond the landlord's control

6. Applicable Law

All reservations and agreements are subject to Dutch law applicable.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent Dutch court.

7. Approval

By making a reservation and/or paying the deposit, the renter declares that they have taken note of these terms and conditions and agree to them.
